Available for rent is one 3 bedroom unit and a 2 bedroom apartment ideally situated on the main channel just above the Hales Ford Bridge.

KATHY'S PLACE is a luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bath rental. With a total of 2400 square feet, it has 7 beds (2 Queens, 1 Double, 4 Singles).

Amenities include:

  • large living room upstairs and family room downstairs
  • a fully equipped kitchen (25 cubic foot refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, blender and coffeemaker)
  • 2 color TVs with Prime Star Satellite (one is a 35" big screen) and VCRs & DVDs
  • WiFi high speed internet
  • washer and dryer
  • beautiful outside upper deck with patio furniture and gas grill
  • lovely lower enclosed patio with wicker furniture
  • dock with patio area, floater dock and diving board
  • use of the paddle boat, conoe and sandy beach area and golf cart

ALL BED LINENS ARE PROVIDED WITH WEEKLY RENTALS.

    $600.00 per week

          Please add 5% Virginia Sales Tax, 5% Bedford County Occupancy Tax and $90.00 Cleaning Fee.
NIGHTLY RATE AVAILABLE
Spring, Fall, and Winter seasons - $218.00 per night and includes all bed and bath linens and Cleaning Fee. Please add 5% Virginia Sales Tax and 5% Bedford County Occupancy Tax.


SPIKE'S WATERFRONT APARTMENT is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, with living room, mini-kitchen and sleeps 4 (1 Queen, 1 Double, and 2 Twins). It has a lovely patio with a gas grill and hammock. All bed and bath linens are provided.

2008 Rates (Nightly):

  • $98 -- 2 People
  • $108 -- 3 People
  • $118 -- 4 People
    (includes cleaning)

Summer Nightly Rates:

  • $108 -- 2 People
  • $118 -- 3 People
  • $128 -- 4 People
    (June, July, August)

    Please add 5% Virginia Sales Tax and 5% Bedford County Occupancy Tax .


Reservations & Information Regarding Summer Weekly Rentals

Making a Reservation: At the time of booking your reservation, we require 1/2 of the total amount due. The other half is due 30 days prior to arrival or no later than June 1st. There is a $250.00 damage deposit (unless otherwise specified) on all units, a Virginia Sales Tax of 5%, a 5% Bedford County Occupancy Tax and a one time cleaning fee. If there are no damages or violations, your deposit will be returned no later than the 15th of the month following your departure.

Furnished: All units are furnished with dishes, cooking utensils, flatware, pots & pans, furniture, pillows, sheets, blankets and bedspreads.

Not furnished: YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS (kitchen, bath & beach). All bed lines are provided. Also, there is enough toilet paper, soap. papertowels, dish soap, cleaners and trash bags to get you started for the week.

Smoking/Pets: No smoking inside the units. Pets allowed under specific conditions with prior approval and pet deposit.

Phones: Local telephone service is provided. Long distance phone calls must be charged to your personal calling card.

When you leave: Clean out refrigerator of all food and wipe down. Wash and put away all dishes. Garbage pick up is provided.

Cancellation Policy: Deposits are not refundable if a reservation is cancelled and we are unable to rent the unit. Deposits will be refunded only if we are able to re-rent the unit.

Golf Cars: A Golf Car is available for use when renting either Kathy's Place or Spike's Apartment. All drivers must be at least 18 years of age AND all drivers must accept total responsibility for any and all damage to said cars unless caused by a defect of said cars or Act of God. Use of Golf Cars is at your own risk!!
